Let's Try Something Else
Clearly, my regularly-scheduled-blogging plan was not working out as planned. So instead of being all "I'm gonna reboot this and try again!" I'm going to try something else:
Writing when I write; writing about whatever I write about.
That's it.
I love writing. I love being a musician. I love long-form interaction (as opposed to Instagram posting). And right now feels like as good a time as any to just, well, write.
I am feeling nervous without a plan over here, but maybe that's a good thing. It's a process of letting go (see what I did there? If you didn't, please go listen to our debut album). I don't know what's going to come of this, but something will happen.
I was getting a Coke Zero at the gas station today and Paul Simon was singing:
And I'm on my way
I don't know where I'm going
I'm on my way
I'm taking my time
But I don't know where
And that's how I feel about this particular endeavor. I don't know where I'm going, but I'm on my way.
Good things are coming. Thank you for being here with me - with us.
Cheers,
Amy
